* Becoming a dentist in Turkey is almost free of charge. There is a government operated nationwide university student selection exam, top performers acquire the right of studying medicine, dentistry and other favorite professions. In US it's expensive becoming a dentist. That difference reflects in dental treatment prices between US and Turkey,
* Turkey is not rich like US. In poorer countries, governments develop populist health policies for the sake of their poor voters' health. Turkish Health Ministry provides free dental care for millions, not only preventive care, but even prosthetic treatments, including dental implants! That creates price pressure on private dentistry business in Turkey. That difference reflects in dental treatment prices between US and Turkey,
* Malpractice insurance cost differences are a gap. Turkish insurance industry is in its infancy. US is not. This results in being conservative (and avoiding hard and risky cases) for a dentist in USA. On the other hand, Turkish dentists are used to dive in the most complex dental cases without worries. This at the same time well explains why most US dentists stuck in addressing less invasive 'veneers' on their media, despite veneers do not answer more than 90% of dental related issues,
* Auxiliary staff wages are pretty lower here than in US. That difference reflects in dental treatment prices between US and Turkey,
* Although it is free of charge to become a dentist in Turkey, 'number of dentist to population ratio' is still less than half of that in US. Meaning is: Two times more people around to be treated for lower prices. Result is: Working hard for good money. Another side effect is: Being well trained.
* Turkey is geographically centered in the middle of the world, thus tourism and aviation industries are above the curve. This allows easy access to Turkey (and to its cheap services) from all peripheral countries: Another plus for Turkish dentists,
Combination of all those above opens the gate for a Turkish dentist to be pretty good, pretty cheap and internationally known.
BUT PLEASE BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL: THERE ARE LOTS OF NON-DENTIST INVESTORS IN PRIVATE DENTISTRY IN TURKEY AND THEY DON'T GIVE A DAMN EXCEPT MONEY!
If somebody from the United States can be able to find the true dentist in Turkey, yes, it will be profitable and the result will be a pleasure for sure..
